​​Frilla is an independent electronic music artist, producer, dancer, gamer, and entrepreneur from Bristol, UK. Known for blending Tech House, UK Garage, Hip Hop, Afro House, and Drum & Bass, he has built a unique identity that combines creativity, resilience, and passion across multiple industries.

​

Music began for Frilla on a PlayStation 2 music generator, sparking a lifelong passion for creating and performing.

However, 2016 became the defining chapter of his life. Following a rare and life-threatening medical condition, Frilla was given only a one-in-a-million chance of survival after suffering a ruptured intestine and severe blood poisoning throughout his body. The ordeal resulted in two major operations, a colostomy bag, and a lengthy recovery period that required him to relearn how to walk and eat.

While many would have stepped back from life, Frilla chose a different path. Through determination, positivity, and focus, he rebuilt himself from the ground up. His daily inspirational posts on social media not only motivated him but also inspired countless followers who regularly shared how his words helped them through difficult times. This experience transformed his outlook on life and strengthened his vision to create, inspire, and push boundaries.

As an artist, Frilla has established himself as a versatile performer and producer. After winning a national MC competition in 2008, he went on to open for Dizzee Rascal and support major UK artists including Kano, Lethal Bizzle, and Lady Leshurr. He has also performed at some of the UK's most respected festivals, including Boomtown, Glade Festival, Glastonbury Festival, and Harbour Festival.
 

His releases, including Rollin, Read Your Mind, My Baby, and the Summer Kiss Island EP, received support from BBC 1Xtra, KISS FM, BBC Radio Bristol, and BBC Radio 1 Dance. His ability to seamlessly combine singing, rapping, and electronic production has helped establish his distinctive sound.

Most recently, Frilla released his debut self-written and self-produced album, La La Land, showcasing his growth as both an artist and producer.
 

Beyond music, Frilla has developed a strong passion for dance. Although dance had always been part of his life, it wasn't until late 2025 that he began pursuing it seriously. Encouraged by professional dancers and choreographers who recognised his natural talent, he started documenting his progress online. His dance content quickly attracted attention and built a growing audience across social media.

Alongside performing, Frilla is available for dance workshops, classes, and events both within the UK and internationally.
 

Gaming is another major part of Frilla's journey.

Through projects such as Top Tier Gaming, which organised over 200 gaming events across several years, and CVE Gaming, he has worked to create opportunities for both professional and aspiring players.

 

CVE Gaming focuses on helping passionate gamers develop their skills, enter tournaments, explore streaming opportunities, and become mentors within the gaming community.

Today, Frilla continues to build a platform that combines music, dance, gaming, motivation, and entertainment. His mission remains simple: inspire people to overcome challenges, pursue their passions, and create opportunities where others see limitations.
